Dr. Cobb has been a fixture in South Jersey health care since
1982 when he opened his private practice, Cobb Chiropractic,
in Haddonfield. Five years later he moved his office to Cherry
Hill, where he practices today.
Committed to helping people heal through his gentle, low-force
practice, Dr. Cobb focuses on non-invasive, long-accepted
practices of adjustment. Much of his practice includes local
families from all walks of life who want to heal injuries,
treat chronic pain and prevent recurrence of health issues.
Dr. Cobb is also a life-long athlete, and has long had a
special interest in using chiropractic as a method of enhancing
athletic performance for elite athletes. University and high
school sports teams trust Cobb Chiropractic with their athletes.
Dr. Cobb is the chiropractor of choice for the crew teams
at University of Pennsylvania and St. Joseph's Preparatory.
He routinely treats athletes from schools such as Harvard,
Rutgers University, Lasalle University, Stockton University
and Rowan University.
Born in Missouri and raised in Florida, Dr. Cobb moved to
New Jersey to attend undergraduate study at Rutgers University.
He continued his education at Life Chiropractic College, where
he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1982. During post graduate
education he earned a Diplomate in Clinical Thermography,
and has completed post-graduate education in neurology, soft
tissue injuries and treatment, and Sacro Occipital Technique.
An avid cyclist, runner and surfer, Dr. Cobb has competed
in races for nearly two decades. He and his wife, Cathy, have
five active children: Greg, a graduate of University of Pennsylvania
(a five-time national championship rower), Steve, a graduate
of Temple University and off to Law School, Ryan, a graduate
of University of Pennsylvania and headed to Medical School,
Madeline, a sophomore at Temple University, and Devon, a Senior
at Roman high School (captain of the wrestling team and rugby
player). The family has lived in Medford since 1982.
In addition to running his practice and raising a family,
Dr. Cobb is a youth soccer coach and a former member of the
board of the neighborhood homeowners association. He is also
a race organizer and sponsor of the Odd Man Duathlon 1.3.5.,
a run/bike race held each year in Medford. The event is called
the Odd Man as only the first, third and fifth place finishers
in the event win awards. The race features a 5K cross country
run, followed by a 10K mountain bike race and another 5K off-road
foot race. During the last decade the event has raised more
than $10,000 for local children's charities.
