Dr. Russell A. Cobb Jr. (1943-2009), a native of North Carolina and a 1967 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic, had a service mission. To give back to the community the very best chiropractic care. This dedication to his beliefs has led to 30 successful years here in Greensboro, and over 25,000 satisfied patients in the Triad area of North Carolina. Today, his family continues to manage one of the premier Chiropractic clinics in North Carolina.
After returning from Tacoma, Washington, Dr. Cobb opened his first Greensboro facility at 900 N. Elm St., in 1977. His commitment and caring dedication to his patients was instantly recognized in the community. Through marketing efforts, and with a kind and courteous staff his facility quickly became the largest Chiropractic practice in North Carolina. After 4 years, Cobb Chiropractic Clinic moved to its current location of 1001 N.Elm St, Greensboro, NC At one time his clinics served communities through out the Southeastern states of Virgina, North Carolina, Florida, Texas and far west as Oklahoma.
Dr. Cobb was a Diplomate of the International Board of Chiropractic Neurologists, and is also certified in Chiropractic Spinal Trauma by the International Chiropractic Association. He was named Doctor of the year in 1983 by the North Carolina Chiropractic Association. Posthumously he was awarded their lifetime achievement award in 2010.
