How long will my program last?
Care and treatment programs are highly individualized. Some
patients need just a few visits while others have more challenging,
long term needs. Yet most patients find that it takes 2-6
weeks to stabilize an injury and another 8-12 weeks to strengthen
the injury site well enough to maintain care on their own.
Our very specific intake interview and exam help determine
your needs - and our goal is to give you all the information
you need to make decisions about your care.
What will services cost?
Each office visit is $55. Additional procedures, if needed,
will be reviewed with you in advance.
Will insurance cover the costs?
Many injuries and issues are covered by insurance, and we
can help you navigate the insurance/reimbursement processes.
Our practice takes many types of insurance directly. Just
ask at the desk.
Will you crack my back?
I hear that cracking is very dangerous. Our "gentle" practice
means that joint cracking is usually unnecessary.
Are chiropractors really doctors?
Yes - and I have the chiropractic degree to prove it. Chiropractors
undergo four years of undergraduate training followed by four
years of study to earn a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree.
The education is similar to other professions such as medicine,
with an emphasis on drugless and surgery-free practice.
If I start chiropractic services will I become "addicted"?
No. Most people need chiropractic services for a proscribed
period of time to heal their issue or injury. Some choose
to continue over the long-term to prevent reoccurrence of
certain injuries. But as good as chiropractic services can
make you feel, once healed your body is not "addicted."
What is your experience with elite athletes?
As a runner and tri-athlete myself, I am very interested in
the condition of athletes and that side of my business has
grown dramatically over the years. We treat some of the best
rowing and running teams and individual athletes in the nation.
I am the chiropractor of choice for the crew teams at University
of Pennsylvania and St. Joseph's Preparatory and I routinely
treat athletes from schools such as Harvard, US Naval Academy,
Rutgers University, Lasalle University, Stockton University
and Rowan University.
